Furthermore, controls have been integrated into
the general accounting procedures to ensure
compliance with the policy. These have not led
to any concerns in 2024, and no incidents were
identi昀椀ed during the year.
The risk of corruption is considered low, as
activities are carried out in Denmark, which is
assessed as one of the least corrupt countries in
the world according to the Transparency International Corruption Perceptions Index.
As part of the monthly 昀椀nancial closing, controls
are performed to ensure that no incidents
have occurred. In addition, an external audit is
conducted annually.
The risk relating to employees receiving gifts is
addressed and managed in accordance with the
company’s procurement and gifts policy.
Whistleblower scheme
To ensure that employees can report anonymously if they suspect legal violations
committed by the company or its employees, a
whistleblower policy was introduced in 2021,
supported by a digital reporting system.
In 2024, three reports were submitted through
the scheme. These were investigated in accordance with company procedures, and the conclusion was that they did not concern breaches of
the law but rather expressions of concern, which
have been appropriately addressed.
